The last week of January in Seville is packed with cultural plans that will win you over. Strolling through the old town, enjoying a coffee with friends or planning a different afternoon can be combined with experiences that blend art, music, dance, fashion and laughter. Here's what we recommend you do from 26 January to 1 February 2026.
1. SIMOF 2026 – Flamenco fashion that fills everything with colour
From 29 January to 1 February, Seville becomes the epicentre of flamenco fashion with SIMOF 2026, the most important event of the year for those who live and feel this unique expression of Andalusian culture.
SIMOF is not just a fair or just fashion shows. It is a festival of style, art and tradition that turns the FIBES venue into a lively, vibrant catwalk, where every dress tells a story and every designer puts their soul and vision of flamenco on stage. From the most established labels to new talents daring with bold cuts, unexpected fabrics or modern reinterpretations of the flamenco dress. Here innovation does not take space away from roots; it makes them more visible and powerful.
Besides the shows, the atmosphere at FIBES is spectacular: you can stroll past fashion stands, accessories, shawls or combs; discover new talent in Andalusian dressmaking; watch live exhibitions and even pick up ideas if you're thinking about your next dress. There is a food area, parallel activities and plenty of inspiration.
This event is perfect whether you are a flamenco dress enthusiast or simply want to get to know an essential piece of Andalusian identity. Because here flamenco is not just worn: here it is felt, breathed and celebrated.
