The first weekend of March arrives packed with plans in Seville for all tastes. From colourful parades in the heart of the city to an outdoor electronic music festival or one of the country's great carnival events at FIBES.
If you're looking for what to do in Seville on 6 and 7 March 2026, here are three proposals that never disappoint.
Bolivian and Ibero-American Carnival in Seville
📅 7 March 2026
🕒 From 15:00
📍 Route: Puerta de Jerez – Avenida de la Constitución – Plaza Nueva – La Campana
One of the weekend's highlights is the Bolivian and Ibero-American Carnival, which will once again fill the centre of Seville with music, tradition and regional costumes.
Each edition draws thousands of people who enjoy a vibrant parade, where traditional dances and colourful costumes turn the streets into a true cultural celebration. A perfect plan for experiencing carnival outdoors and soaking up the atmosphere in the heart of the city.
Besides the parade, various clubs and nightclubs in Seville will hold themed parties and costume contests over the weekend.
Electrolunch XXL at Parque de Magallanes
📅 7 March 2026
📍 Parque de Magallanes
Saturday also brings a new edition of Electrolunch XXL, the great outdoor electronic music festival in Seville.
For 12 hours, Parque de Magallanes will be transformed into a space to enjoy DJ sets, workshops, a kids' area, crafts and a wide food offering with food trucks.
It's one of the most complete plans if you're looking for festival atmosphere, live music and a different way to spend Saturday with friends.
El Falla en Sevilla 2026 at FIBES II
📅 6 and 7 March 2026
📍 FIBES II
Carnival also comes alive on stage. FIBES hosts the thirteenth edition of El Falla en Sevilla, considered the most important carnival event in the country after Cádiz's COAC.
This year's lineup brings together some of the most renowned comparsas and chirigotas of the moment, such as the comparsa of Jesús Bienvenido, that of Miguel Ángel García Argüez “el Chapa” and Raúl Cabrera, the return of Yuyu with his chirigota, the chirigota from Écija and that of Bizcocho. Humour will also play a key role with Manolo Morera, and the show will be hosted by Manolo Casal.
Each performance will last approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes, including an intermission, in what promises to be a true carnival marathon for enthusiasts.
Which plan will you choose this weekend in Seville?
Three very different proposals for 6 and 7 March: tradition and culture on the streets, outdoor electronic music or pure carnival on stage.
Whatever your style, this weekend Seville once again proves there is always something to do in the city.
