Seville enters the last full week of August, but the cultural agenda still has plenty to offer.
From 24 to 30 August 2026 we find theatre, concerts, flamenco, candlelit music, summer cinema and some of the last chances to enjoy cycles that have been with us all summer.
This week we've also wanted to look for different plans from the ones we usually include, with a day trip very close to Seville and proposals you may not have noted down yet.
If you're looking for what to do in Seville this week, take note.
1. Asómate al Patio: summer cinema every night
📅 From Monday 24 to Sunday 30 August
📍 Patio de la Diputación de Sevilla
🕙 22:00 h
🎟️ Tickets: €5
If you're one of those who in summer prefers swapping the sofa for an outdoor screen, Asómate al Patio is once again one of the easiest plans to recommend this week.
The summer cinema of the Diputación de Sevilla offers a different film every night, with screenings at 22:00 and tickets at 5 €.
Schedule from 24 to 30 August
🎬 Monday 24: La buena hija, by Julia de Paz Solvas.
🎬 Tuesday 25: El diablo viste de Prada 2, by David Frankel.
🎬 Wednesday 26: Love Me Tender, by Anna Cazenave Cambet.
🎬 Thursday 27: Homo Argentum, by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat.
🎬 Friday 28: Pioneras. Solo querían jugar, by Marta Díaz de Lope Díaz.
🎬 Saturday 29: Marty Supreme, by Joshua Safdie.
🎬 Sunday 30: Les Musiciens, by Grégory Magne.
A fairly varied schedule across drama, comedy and international cinema, perfect for enjoying August evenings without leaving Seville.
Our tip: if any film especially interests you, buy your tickets in advance as capacity is limited.
🎟️ Tickets can be purchased through the official Asómate al Patio website.
2. Music at the Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba
📅 Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 August
📍 Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba
🕤 21:30 h
The Summer Nights at the Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba offer three very different concerts this week in one of Seville's most special historic venues.
Tuesday 25
🎼 Carmina Terrarum El corazón del cancionero, a proposal devoted to Renaissance music.
Wednesday 26
🎶 Carmina Terrarum and Amin Chaachoo An evening combining Andalusian, Renaissance and border ballad music.
Thursday 27
Son de Cuba y compañía An evening devoted to Cuban popular music.
Also, these are the last three concerts of the cycle, so this week is the time to say goodbye until next summer.
3. Hola Raffaella: music, television and nostalgia at Cajasol
📅 Thursday 27 August
📍 Fundación Cajasol – Seville
🕘 21:00 h
One of the most distinctive plans this week is “Hola Raffaella”, part of the Summer Nights at the Fundación Cajasol.
The show revives the television and musical spirit of Raffaella Carrà, with a proposal starring Roser.
It is not simply a concert: it is designed as a theatre and music show within Cajasol's summer programme. The Foundation has it officially scheduled for 27 August at 21:00.
If you're looking for something fun, light-hearted and different, it could be one of the best plans this week.
4. Five nights of music in the Gardens of the Real Alcázar
📅 From Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 August
📍 Royal Alcázar of Seville
🎟️ 7 €
We keep including the Nights in the Gardens of the Real Alcázar because the programme changes every week and, frankly, few venues can compete with this setting.
This week we have:
Tuesday 25
💃 Esther Merino Re(e)volución íntima.
Wednesday 26
🎸 Alxaraf La cuerda de tres hilos.
Thursday 27
🎼 Inés Alonso & Ariel Abramovich
Friday 28
🎬 Cuarteto Isbilya European film scores of the 20th century.
Saturday 29
🎻 Rafael Ruibérriz de Torres, Alberto Trujillo and Rafael Arjona
The official programme confirms these five performances between 25 and 29 August. Tickets have a single price of €7.
Especially interesting this week: Friday's concert devoted to European film scores of the 20th century.
5. Candlelight at the Hotel Alfonso XIII
📅 Sunday 30 August
📍 Salón Real – Hotel Alfonso XIII
To close August with something completely different, on Sunday we have two Candlelight sessions in one of Seville's most emblematic venues.
18:30 h
🕯️ Coldplay & Imagine Dragons
A string quartet concert with versions of some of the best-known songs from both bands.
20:30 h
🕯️ Tribute to Queen & The Beatles
Two giants of British music reinterpreted in string format and surrounded by candles.
Both concerts are confirmed for Sunday 30 August in the Salón Real of the Hotel Alfonso XIII.
If you've never tried a Candlelight, this week could be a good excuse.
6. Last days of “Per Me Reges Regnant”
📅 Until Saturday 29 August
📍 Sala Murillo – Fundación Cajasol
🕚 11:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 21:00
🎟️ Free entry
After the celebrations of 15 August, there is still one chance to delve into the history of the Virgen de los Reyes.
The exhibition “Per Me Reges Regnant. Between the memory and legacy of the Virgen de los Reyes” ends precisely this week.
The display explores the historical, artistic, symbolic and devotional value of one of the figures most closely linked to Seville.
It can be visited until Saturday 29 August, with free entry until capacity is reached.
As always, we recommend checking the official website of each organiser before travelling, especially for events with limited capacity, advance booking or ticket sales.
And you, what plan will you choose to say goodbye to August in Seville?
