Get Lost in Our Streets
Seville is a city made up of winding streets that form part of its historic centre. A stroll through the Santa Cruz Quarter will take you back to the old Almohad era, but we want to tell you about one street in particular, Calle Reinoso.
Calle Reinoso is better known as the Street of Kisses. Besides its appeal due to its narrowness, it is known for its fun legend, in which the oldest residents say that neighbours could kiss those living opposite them because the balconies were so close together.
Another interesting fact about this street is that the closeness of its two walls keeps it cooler than the surrounding streets, since sunlight barely gets in. Finally, we want to highlight the curious fact that no vehicle has ever driven down it, as at its narrowest point it measures just 106 cm.
If you are one of those who enjoys discovering the most curious aspects of cities, this route is undoubtedly a must on your list of things to do when visiting Seville.
Will you dare to visit it and touch both walls with your hands, or would you prefer to live up to its name and kiss your partner?
Venture into the lesser-known Seville and enjoy it.
