This June, Seville becomes the capital of Pride. The City Council has prepared an extensive programme, with activities in every neighbourhood, concerts for all tastes and exhibitions that invite reflection. All to celebrate diversity, make the LGTBIQ+ community visible and reinforce the message that in Seville there is room for everyone.
Neighbourhood Pride: the party starts in every corner
Diversity Month kicks off with neighbourhood activities such as the III Encuentro contra la LGTBIfobia Barzola Diversa and the Neighbourhood Prides in Pino Montano, Distrito Este and other points across the city. There will also be participatory events in the municipal markets, with performances by artists such as Samantha Ballentines and Xenón, bringing Pride to where people buy their bread and live their everyday lives.

A poster that speaks in Sevillian
The official image is the work of Daniel Vivas (Superbritánico), and pays tribute to popular and modern Seville. With the phrase “Tos por igual” and an aesthetic that blends Expo 92 with vintage spring posters, it reminds us that here there is room for everyone.
A June full of reasons to take to the streets, celebrate, learn and share. This Diversity Month will be unforgettable.
