Historic fountains you can't miss

As everyone knows, Seville is a city full of history and monuments, but by leaving the “typical” monumental circuit we can find authentic jewels of history.

If you are a curious person who likes to discover every corner of the city you visit, we recommend a walk past its most historic fountains.

First, the Fountain of the Virgen de los Reyes. This fountain has its own history and stands as a symbol when leaving the Seville Cathedral, a place to rest and admire its architecture.

If we keep walking towards the Puerta de Jerez we come across the Fuente Híspalis, also known as the “Cibeles of Seville”. It is a construction from the 1929 exhibition.

Finally, if you want to escape the bustle of the city centre, we recommend visiting the María Luisa Park, where you will find the famous Fountain of the Frogs.

These are just some of the most important ones; we invite you to keep discovering the city and enjoy every corner.
