Built for Expo '92 on La Cartuja Island and run by the Junta of Andalucía, Teatro Central is the home of the contemporary scene in Seville: dance, creation theatre, avant-garde flamenco and contemporary music, with national and international companies.
It is one of the regular venues for the Flamenco Biennial and Seville's major festivals.
