The Palace of Benamejí, an 18th-century Baroque building, houses the Municipal Historical Museum of Écija. Its collection traces the history of the ancient Roman Astigi, with grand mosaics and sculptures such as the famous Wounded Amazon.
The building is worth a visit too: brick and marble façade and a two-story colonnaded courtyard.
