The Church of San Juan Bautista, a 15th‑century Gothic‑Mudéjar jewel, is Marchena’s great treasure. Inside is the Zurbarán Museum, housing the series of nine canvases the painter created for this parish, as well as a splendid main altarpiece.
Enter the historic center through the Arco de la Rosa, the old gate of the wall, and wander the streets that lead to the church.
