El Jueves is an open-air market with a centuries-old tradition that transforms calle Feria every Thursday. With origins dating back before the 13th century, this popular market became established on calle Feria during the 19th century. From early morning, a picturesque mix of antiques, vintage objects and unexpected treasures brings the neighbourhood to life. Its lively, authentic atmosphere, where locals and visitors browse side by side, makes it a weekly "Sevillian mass". Among ceramics, records, furniture and flamenco dresses, the market keeps an almost anarchic air full of surprises. It is part of the soul of the Macarena neighbourhood and a must-visit for anyone strolling along the Alameda.
