Colegiata de Osuna

A Renaissance temple with works by Ribera and the mausoleum of the Dukes of Osuna.

Colegiata de Osuna, Osuna

At the top of Osuna, beside the old University, stands the Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, a 16th‑century Renaissance church founded by the Count of Ureña. It houses a sacred art museum with several works by José de Ribera, and beneath the church lies the mausoleum of the Dukes of Osuna.

Then take a stroll down San Pedro Street, with its Baroque palaces: Osuna is one of the most beautiful historic towns in Andalusia.
