One of the largest Almohad fortresses in Andalusia, perched on a hill above the Guadaíra River. You can walk its walls and towers, with views over Alcalá and the countryside.
At its foot lies Oromana Park, a pine forest by the river with trails and old flour mills: Alcalá was Seville’s great oven for centuries, “Alcalá de los Panaderos”.
