Cordoba Day Trip from Seville 2 days and one night

Córdoba was the capital of the Caliphate of Córdoba during the Muslim era and one of the leading cities of the Baetica province during the Roman Empire, hence its great historical and cultural legacy that is well worth knowing.

History has left the city of Córdoba some architectural marvels such as the Alcázar, the Roman Bridge or the Jewish Quarter, but without a doubt the crown jewel is the magnificent Mezquita-Cathedral of Córdoba.

In Seville our guide from Naturanda will pick you up and we will head for Córdoba, which we will reach in just over an hour and a half, to begin a visit you will never forget.

We will walk through one of the most beautiful settings in the world, along its most emblematic streets, past the city's most important monuments, learning about the history and cultural aspects of the city.

Through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter we will visit the most beautiful Cordovan Patios. These patios are full of details, colourful flowers and have a unique fragrance. They will also give you the chance to take magnificent photographs as a souvenir of this incomparable excursion.

We will have time to enjoy the famous Cordovan cuisine, where the fine local wine and world-renowned traditional Andalusian dishes such as salmorejo or oxtail stew stand out.

After a well-deserved break for lunch and some shopping, we will visit the Mezquita-Cathedral of Córdoba, the main highlight of this tour.

This striking monument was once the second most important temple in the Muslim world after Mecca itself. Its naves, doors, ornamental details and endless rows of arches leave no one indifferent; it is a journey back in time that deserves to be appreciated and savoured as it should be, a feast for the senses.

We will have plenty of time to visit at a leisurely pace this monument declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most visited in Spain. After the long day's excursion you can rest at your hotel and recharge for the next day, another no less exciting day.

On the second day you will have free time to discover other corners of the city of Córdoba at your own pace, do some shopping or simply enjoy a stroll through its streets. At around 5:00 pm we will head back to Seville, where we will arrive at approximately 7:00 pm after having enjoyed a magnificent getaway.
