Seville is on the move. If you're in the city or about to visit, I bring you a guide to the best of leisure, culture, gastronomy and experiences for this week. From artisan fairs to concerts, including theatre and flamenco. Let's go.
Seville Artisan Ceramics Fair
Dates: Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November
Venue: Patio de la Diputación de Sevilla (Avenida Menéndez Pelayo)
Opening hours: Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00 (non-stop) and Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00 (non-stop)
What it offers: Sale of handmade ceramic products, exhibition of pieces, free live demonstrations. In a province like Seville, where ceramics have a long tradition, this fair is an opportunity to get close to the craft, talk with artisans and take home unique pieces.
Why go: Ideal for those who value craftsmanship and local design and want a relaxed morning or afternoon plan. Also perfect for families or tourists who want to discover a less conventional side of Seville.
Tips: Combine your visit with a stroll through the Old Town or Triana. Bring a camera or phone to capture details of the pieces: textures, glazes, shapes.
Croqueta Crush
Dates: Friday 7, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November
Venue: Muelle de las Delicias, s/n. 41012 Seville
What it is: A gastronomic food-fair festival gathering croquettes from 8 different restaurants. Each croquette has its own "vibe": classic, rebellious, sweets that don't seem like it, spicy ones that surprise. You can taste, vote for your favourites and make a "match" with the one you like most.
Link for tickets/more information: croquetacrush.com
Why go: If you love gastronomy, snacking and discovering new flavours with friends or family, this plan is ideal. Great atmosphere, relaxed, good for trying things, and kids have a good time too.
Tip: Go hungry. Start with a tasting round of 2–3 croquettes, then pause and choose your favourite. And don't forget to vote.
