Located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, Córdoba has a rich history as capital of the Roman Empire and later during the Caliphate of Córdoba. Its legacy is reflected in an impressive artistic and architectural heritage that includes the Mosque-Cathedral, the Roman Bridge and the old Jewish Quarter, among other iconic monuments.
On this day trip from Seville to Córdoba, you will explore one of the most fascinating cities in Andalusia. The journey starts in Seville with a stop in Carmona, a charming white village where you can enjoy a short break to admire its beauty and have a coffee before continuing to Córdoba, about one hour away. Along the way, you will enjoy the picturesque Andalusian landscape dotted with olive groves.
Once in Córdoba, you will take a guided walking tour of the historic centre, exploring places such as the Roman Bridge, the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Stables and the Synagogue. You will also have the chance to stroll through the famous Córdoba patios. Afterwards, you will enjoy a break to try the local gastronomy or have your own lunch, followed by free time for shopping.
After lunch, the visit continues with the impressive Mosque-Cathedral, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
